Disapointing
The great venue and staff at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion made finding our seats easy. The excited beer tent staff provided great customer service for the concert. We spent around $500 for the evening, including tickets, fuel, drinks, shirts, and dinner, and drove an hour and a half each way in anticipation of a fantastic show. After the first song, the lead singer announced he couldn't sing, and the band started late, performing only 10 songs before we left the venue in about an hour. I was disappointed that the band did not reschedule or cancel, choosing to prioritize their pride over the show's quality. The fact that they hadn't canceled a show in nine years was irrelevant to me. I am working on an email to request a refund as I have never felt so let down after a rock concert. Watching the lead singer sit on a speaker and pout was not what I paid for.
